About Speak A Lot Kids
I am originally from Haiti, and I live in Montreal, Canada. I grew up in an academic family where I learned, that leading by example can positively influence one’s professional life.
I studied Marketing and International Commercial Negotiation for 18 months, and am currently, studying Business Management. I am a certified English, and French teacher with eight years of teaching experience; both online and in the classroom. I speak 4 languages and currently learning German and Portuguese. I had an opportunity to work abroad. I taught English and French in the beautiful Spanish-speaking country — Ecuador. I also taught children and professionals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia English online.
Our main objectives in the classroom are to engage students in natural conversation, improve their reading strategies, and think critically about the subjects we cover. I use varied instructional resources and tools to strengthen their language skills. I lead self-guided exercises to improve students’ understanding of sound and symbol relations, spelling, punctuation, and pronunciation practices.
You could find me playing basketball, tennis or biking during the week, on a Saturday morning I enjoy my slow morning with coffee & Jazz, and at night, I enjoy listening to my favourite radio show *Leçon du samedi* by Serginho Lindor on Radio Lumière. The best classic cartoon is *Les Aventures de Tintin *.
Here is why it is an opportunity for your child to sign up for our online course :
We give students the time to develop or discover their intellectual hidden talents.
We allow students to debate, explain things, and learn to express emotion.
Students become language influencers to others at a young age. They demonstrate their love for languages, which inspires other children.
We know children can be shy when speaking and making mistakes in a second language; this is why our patience and charisma are our top qualities.
See you in class!
